This long growing grape loves the hot summers of the Adelaida District of Paso Robles. It was the last to be harvested in 2019, allowing the sugar to develop and thus become a rather high level alcohol.
Native to Spain, Grenache is usually blended but here it stands on its own. The light, bright color contains a strawberry flavor & spice that is dry but soft on the palate with low tannin. The great debate is whether to have the stunning Grenache chilled or not. As usual, this stands alone or compliments any cheese or tomato based dish.
